When I was a very little person,
I had a friend only I could see.
And on days when I was lonely,
He would come and play with me.
To others I tried to introduce him,
But, nothing would he say.
It seemed it was their unbelief
That made him go away.
They said to me "be real,
Don't fanaticize so much,
The only things that are real
Are things that you can touch".
I should not have listened
To that mighty throng.
Because they couldn't see him
Didn't mean that I was wrong.
So if you also have a friend
That only you know about
Don't ever let him go away
No matter what they shout.
Be thankful for this gift from God
That very few can see.
And if they tell you " you are wrong"
Perhaps it's only JEALOUSY.
